I, at first, did not like her one bit. She was very cold to Finn when he showed signs of affections. And when Finn began to even CRY about this I said to myself “wow, what a bitch”
I was wrong however.
In the newer episode where Finn kissed Flame Princess, the commercials made it seem like Princess Bubblegum was turning into a jealous bitch.
But anyone who ACTUALLY watched the episode clearly heard one of her best lines-
“This isn’t about some petty love triangle”
Princess Bubblegum knows her responsibilities. She does what she can, even though it might not be the best for one or two people.. it’s the best for all.
I’m not sure why, but people like to make authority figures always seem like the bad guy in every situation. Princess Bubblegum gained my respect when I started to realize that she does things for her people..
Many of you will remember the episode with the Lemon King.
Princess Bubblegum could’ve stayed young to be with Finn, but she knew she had responsibilities.
She is a smart, MATURE lady. Maybe she doesn’t show it the best ways.. by no means, she is NOT PERFECT.
I just wish people would see it her way before outright calling her a “bitch”.

Thank you! I don’t understand why everyone thinks she’s a bitch. I like her. She’s got a mother f-ing kingdom to rule, can’t you cut her a little slack?
Mind you, this is coming from someone whose OTP is FinnxPB. Don’t you think I would’ve liked it if PB stayed 13 so she could be with Finn? Um, yeah. But she can’t just abandon her kingdom so she can relive her childhood. She said it herself, “Responsibility demands sacrifice”.
